I'm very sorry to report that Gary Goldsberry was killed in a Brantly crash yesterday, July 25, 2020. Here's a link to the initial report.

Gary has been working with Brantlys for many decades. He and Harold Jenkins worked on them together for many years, and Gary had most of the Brantly inventory after the factory shut down.

Gary and I were two of only a few people invited to meet with Brantly after the company was bought by the Chinese organization, to try to come up with ideas on keeping things going in the States. Obviously, nothing ever came about after that meeting.

Very sad news indeed.

I just learned of Gary’s accident. I was thinking of getting the Brantly out and always think of Gary as he was the key reason along with Steve(Harold’s stepson) that got mine flying many years ago. Probably had been a year or so since I talked to him and just learned the news from a mutual friend. A huge loss for Gary’s family and friends and a tremendous loss to the Brantly helicopter which he loved and supported for decades and decades.
