I soloed my daughter Amanda in the Brantly a couple of days ago. She has her private single engine land rating already and is well on her way to getting her helicopter rating!

Thanks guys. Amanda is actually 24 and she has about 5 hours in an Enstrom as well. A few days later I soloed another young man 21 years old. I had another gentleman in his mid 50's that I guess you could say
"washed out". I still think he can do it but it became frustrating to him because he was used to being really good at everything he did and well the helicopter can humble you real quick as we all know! Age does make a difference in how quick we learn motor skills-to say otherwise is just being politically correct :-) For the older guys and gals that have always wanted to learn though you can STILL do it(most likely) but it will just take you longer in all probability. If you have always wanted to fly a helicopter I'd give it my best shot to mark it off my bucket list! Few things are the equal of it i can assure you!
