flying

Post by fixnfly »

I put a n ad on the forum today and in a matter of just a few hours i see that 10 people viewed it. It's kind of funny that so many people look at the forum and no one puts anything on it about flying for sometimes as much as a few weeks or a month. IS ANYONE FLYING? Let's hear from you and keep the interest up. Happy flying. Bill

Got to fly the B2 twice this weekend. Flew it to a bell/Enstrom repair shop. Everyone always comes out to look it over.
Happy flying

I'd love to see some more action on here! I've been flying quite a bit. Flown over a 110 hours in the Brantly since getting it going! Been going to post some videos but haven't had time to edit them just yet. I get in at least a couple of flights a week and would get more but the Density Altitude has made it dicey on certain days with anyone over 175 pounds as a passenger.

I've added audio to the GoPro and have some decent videos I hope to post soon.

Nice to see you guys doing some flying. We're always flying up here, but most of it is uneventful. I had almost 300 hours over the last year. We had a couple more students pass their checkrides this summer, and 3 more should be taking theirs by the end of the month, or soon afterwards. Then there are at least a dozen others in the process. It's great to see that there is still interest in becoming a helicopter pilot.

A few weeks ago I provided helicopter rides at a car cruise/fly-in. We used the Enstrom so we could do hot loading. I flew non-stop for 7 hours. It was quite tiring, but the event went well, with the helpers I had to take care of the table, load/unload passengers, fueling, etc.

Wow 7 hours non stop had to be tiring big time. I flew 8.2 hours helicopter and fixed wing combined last Saturday but it was spread over 12 hours but I still was TIRED at the end of the day. Must have been a huge Cruise-In to fly that much. Great job keeping those ships busy!
