Brantly B-2 turns 60!

Yesterday, February 21st, 1953 marks the first flight of the B-2. That makes the Brantly B-2 sixty years old. I have always assumed that first flight was was piloted by Newby O. Brantly. Can anyone out there verify that for me?

60 years old! So many great designs came from that era. It was the age of mechanical genius much like now we are in an age of electronic technology innovation. I can relate to mechanical things much better-just hard for me to see all those electrons on this new age stuff . The Brantly was and still is a great helicopter!
