If this is N6795D, here is a link to a youtube video of the helicopter, including several comments about a flood that it was in.

And here are several pictures of the helicopter during its life.

Re: Need Equipment list
Yep thats it. Rick Kosar had it in corona air port- Floyd Hiser flew it and Scott Donnaly Both became very secussful helicopter opperators,It was sold to a guy in Washington State and he abandonded it after a flood in 1997 after it sat, I poured oil in the gear boxes and engine to over flowing and drained out water & mud, Its a sad site , In 1959 It was a Kentucky state trooper helicopter and went back to brantly for a hard landing From 1982 I saw Rick flying it,and Scott flew it for his commercial cert to and from corona and the colarado river., and found a missing couple in the mountains after they were missing for over a year. now all in pieces its time to fix it up, We tried to contact the owner and his responce was I don't want it anymore,,,,But He still has the logs...

Re: Need Equipment list
re 2nd photo.....is the use bubble covers like that recommended? a member here mentioned,
wind moving it around can leave a undesired "finish". Any comments?
Suppose one went on a camp trip, night or two, can you buy a cover for the center rotor
to keep rain off? Or like in Ron's trip to the outter banks, he had to land to let a storm pass.

Good luck on the salvage job!!

Re: Need Equipment list
When I'm going on an overnight trip, or for whatever reason need to let the ship sit out over night or in bad weather, I do cover it with a bubble cover, mast cover, tail rotor cover, main rotor blade covers, and blade tiedowns. If I know it's going to rain, I also cover the cooling fans. As for wind moving them around, you should be able to secure the covers tight enough to prevent this.
Re: Need Equipment list
Ron, Did you buy those? or have them custom made.
Material?
