Cabin For Simulator

Post by senglish »

We have started a flight school in Granbury Texas. We are going to build a flight simulator to take around for advertising and to promote our business. We Fly a B2B at our school. We would like a Brantly cabin to set the simulator up in. I know it is far fetched, doesn't hurt to ask? Any ideas?

Before leaving Brantly in 2001, we had built up a cockpit to show off the "upgraded" instrument panel. Couldn't hurt to give them a call and see if it's still around collecting dust somewhere.

Thanks,
That was an absolutely great tip, the factory is going to provide the cabin!
It is short a couple seats. Anyone have some seats collecting dust?
Simulator contrils have shipped and should be here next week.
Thanks

UPDATE; we picked up the cabin for the simulator today and took a tour of the Brantly factory. They had several under construction and we were told that they are sold as fast as they can build them. We saw how they made the blades and helicopters in different stages of completion. They are looking to almost double the work force to get production up to one a month. So if you know any experienced aircraft builders looking for a job……
Everyone was very nice and more than happy to answer our questions.
We discussed their owners (can’t pronounce their name) they have factories in China due to open this year (It is one of the companies that make aircraft parts for Boeing). This will make parts more readily available once the FAA and CAC go through their processes.
They said they will update the web page soon.

It was a great day and I have a new favorite hat!!!
