I'm coming up on my first annual and am wondering what kind of prices you guys are seeing for this. I've heard of prices ranging from a low of $400 up to $1200 on the high side. Also, how long does it normally take? I realize that if there's a lot of problems or something major to do, the time and cost will go up, but I'd like a feel for an average annual with nothing major wrong. Right now I'm guessing at around $800-900 and 3-4 days. This will be the first time this A&P will have seen this ship and log books, so I imagine that will add some time to the process.
Thanks

Annuals
My annual involved quite a bit of work - bearing replacements, rebuilding oleo struts, new exhaust brackets, etc. However, the base charge for the annual and 100 hour inspection was about $700.

Does anyone know of an A&P IA that would be interested in coming to Pennsylvania to do some annuals? We have 3 Brantly's here locally and all 3 should pass pretty easily. We're having trouble getting either of the local guys with Brantly experience nailed down. They've both said they were interested in doing the inspections, but keep putting us off. I can be contacted here or off-line at rspiker@autorotate.com.
