I'm getting ready to overhaul my engine and am wondering who you guys might recommend for machining the case, crank and cam as well as other good sources for parts and pieces for the overhaul.

Not sure where you are located, but there is a great guy in north Ga. Carlos Gann. I think he does it all. Try 706-638-3034.

My crankcase went to Crankcase Services in Sand Springs, OK.
Cylinders - Gibson Aviation, El Reno, OK
Crankshaft - Airmotive Engineering, San Antonio TX
Camshaft, crank/cam gears, rocker arms, tappet bodies, etc - Rick Romans, Tulsa OK
I bought a lot of parts from Aircraft Specialties in Tulsa, OK

Thanks guys, I'll check into those tomorrow.
Ron, did you shop around or are those places Harold recommended? Did the guy who did the gears and cam do the magnaflux and dimensionals on the gears?
Tom, if you're reading this can you let me know where you send your stuff so I can compare.
I'm trying to keep the cost down since this engine has less than 200 hours since O/H. Sat too long and rusted up I'm afraid. Hopefully I can keep the cost down and do the assembly myself.

Harold didn't do my overhaul. The guys who did used those places, however. They have apparently used those companies quite a lot.
Yes, Rick Romans, Inc did the magniflux and dimensionals.
