FH1100 flying experience

Post by N2285U »

I decided to finish my commercial add-on rating and found an operator receiving a newly rebuilt FH1100 for instruction. The rates are very reasonable and the operator is fairly close to where I live. Does anybody here have any flight experience in one? It is only about $60 per hour more than an R22, so it seems like an obvious choice since it is a turbine.

Sounds like a great deal by comparison! So the FH1100 is about $300 per hour or so? Give us an update if you decide to go for it.

I have contacted Paul at sunhelo as well. I am very comfortable in the B2B, so that would be my choice if a lot cheaper and scheduling would work - plus I get to practice my autos without touching the collective after the flare - only possible in a Brantly
