Seattle??

Post by J-nut »

Alright fess up, who's got the Brantly in Seattle? (besides me that is 8)

Ran into a PPG rep at Sunquest yesterday who said someone at Goodrich has a bird they're trying to get back into the air. Heard you're trying to get together a mold for a canopy. Super, I'm in need of one myself!

Drop me an e-mail or stop on by if you're around. I'm in north corporate, C-105. Most days late morning till mid evening. Bring beer, I'm almost out

Is the mold for a B2 or a B2B?

Canopy

Hi Brad,

I'm not sure myself that's why I was trying to make contact. The rep said he'd get the info and get back to me sometime soon. He thought it was a B2-B though.

Well the PPG rep was supposed to talk with the mystery owner today so hopefully I will hear back in the next day or two.

Had a good talk with Doyle last week. He tells me the canopy is blown and not stretched. From the description it sounds like a heck of an ordeal to make one. I had no idea it was so complicated.

Anybody know what ever happened to the mold that Voss(?) had?

I've seen the canopy manufacturing equipment at the factory. It's like one of those wands you use to blow bubbles, only bigger. (Come to think of it, not a whole lot bigger.)
