Post by Ron Spiker »

Does anyone have or know of any 202 main rotor blades for sale, besides the factory?

Click on "SERVICING" on the left menu bar.

Harold Jenkins' contact number is there.

I just got a -202 from him a week ago.

They are $3500 with approx. 1000 hrs remaining.

Thanks guys. His name was first on my list to try to call tomorrow. Do you know if the blades can be reskinned or not?

It is my understanding that the only time life component on the main rotor blades is the hinge block itself. That is the portion of the blade where the 3/4 inch bolt attaches at the hinge block. This topic about re-skinning blades was highly discussed at the factory when I worked there many moons ago. I'm not so sure of there position on it today, but I would refer you to the FAR's on the subject of a parts manufacturing authority (PMA 21.303) Not to cast doubt on Harolds work or parts that he sells, but all the customer has to go on is a yellow tag with a signature.

Are there any 101, 202, 404 blades out there for sale with valid paperwork. Looking for some with low to mid time, no cracks or damage.
