B2 CRASH IN KANSAS, OCT.'06

WELL GUYS, DON'T WAIT FOR THE NTSB REPORT. I WAS THE PILOT. HAD TOO MUCH TAIL WIND AND NOT ENOUGH RPM. WE HAD FLOWN 8 OR 10 HOURS OVER THE RANCH AND NEIGHBORING RANCHES LOOKING FOR DEER AND HOGS. TIME WAS 8AM OR SO. WIND WAS COMMING MOSTLY UP FROM A LOW VALLEY WHICH I HAD BEEN TAKING OFF INTO. WELL TWO THINGS....WIND SHIFTED AND NOT ENOUGH DISTANCE TO GET TO TL BEFORE HAD TO GO OVER SOME LOW TREES COMMING OUT OF THE VALLEY. I HAD ALMOST STOPPED TO SET DOWN AND RECOVER RPM. LANDED SKIDS CROOKED. TUMPED OVER ON THE SIDE. ME AND PASSENGER NOT HURT BUT HE COMPLAINED OF CHEST PAINS. LITTLE DID I KNOW HE HAD BEEN HAVING CHEST PAINS FOR A COUPLE DAYS PRIOR. AMBULANCE TRANSPORTED HIM TO WINFIELD HOSPITAL FOR OBSERVATION. YA WANNA SEE PICTURES? E-MAIL ME. USAPILOT69@HOTMAIL.COM HAROLD JENKINS CAME AND GOT THE CRAFT TO TAKE BACK TO OKLAHOMA. HAROLD, I'M SURE ALL YOU KNOW. HE LIVES NORTH OF VERNON NEAR CEMENT OK. NOW THE FUN PART WITH THE FAA. I'M TO TAKE A CHECK RIDE WITH AN EXAMINER. I CAN'T FIND A BRANTLY TO USE. ANY KIND HEARTED TRUSTING SOULS OUT THERE THAT WOULD LET ME BORROW, RENT ETC THEIR MACHINE TO TAKE THE CHECK RIDE? DISTRICT FAA SAYS I CAN TAKE IT WHERE EVER I WANT IN WHAT MACHINE I WANT. I TRIED ROBINSONS BUT I NEED 10 HOURS IN TYPE, WHICH I DON'T HAVE. ON AND ON. PLUS I DON'T LIKE ROBINSONS. I LIKE BRANTLYS I'M IN SOMEWHAT IF A DELEMA. THE CRASH WAS ALL PILOT ERROR. I'M THE ONE TO BLAME. NOT THE HELICOPTER. THE WINDS GOT ME AND I COULDN'T MAINTAIN RPM.
TALK TO ME FELLOWS. HAROLD HAS NOTHING TO FLY NOW AND I HAD TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THIS SITE. I'M THE ONE THAT HAS THE NON-FI 360 EXHAUST TUBES. THEY ARE WORKING VERY WELL AND I CAN GET MORE FOR YOU CARBURATOR EQUIPPED DRIVERS. I HAVE FIXED WING TRANSPORTATION AND COULD COME TO YOU AND WOULD FLY WITH YOU IN YOUR BRANTLY. I'VE HUNDREDS OF HOURS IN BRANTLYS.
I HAVE ALSO BEEN TO THE FACTORY AND TALKED TO CY AND DOYLE PREVIOUSLY AT SUN-N-FUN. YEARS AGO. EXCEPT FOR NO ADVERTISING I AM AT A LOSS AS TO WHY BRANTLYS ARE NOT SELLING. FABULOUS SHIP.PERIOD.
TALK TO ME, JOHN READ

Hi John, Thanks for your post. Glad you both came out unhurt. My ship is down for a while getting work done on it. I don't know of any available.
