N888CF Hours
I have put 19.5 hours on my B-2B since I got it in October 2002. The meter now shows 1607. It was smooth as silk at the beginning, but developed a vertical hop. Seems like the problem is fixed now. What seems to have caused it was a blocked grease fitting for one of the sets of thrust bearings and a loose swash plate. It needed quite a bit of maintenance at the annual in Feb., but nothing major.
75 hours in 9 months with 2740 TT. I have developed a vertical hopp too and it is swashplate/thrust bearing related. Going to correct it at next annual. Complete new clutch assembly and all oil leaks fixed over the last few months. Great flying little ship.
If your wings aren't turning, they are broken and you had better get them fixed....

I've got 2 machines with over 3000 hours on each one.
My 1965 B-2B has 3036 hours. In the last year I have only been able to fly it for 7 hours in the last year because I found a real BAD mechanic who damaged the rotor head.
I also bought a complete machine that is in pieces. I think it is from 1965 or 1966 but it has 3413.4 hours

Brantly hours
I have 198 hours on Brantlys,Helicopter 481 total time 980hours.No hop or bounce but then if you track them and balance them and fit nice new dampers, and allow them to bed in then track and balance again after about ten hours that should do it. You may notice that your first track has a climbing blade or one blade acting odd,but on flying it seems fine then after about 10 hours one blade will start to feel like it is pulling (horizontal) take the Helicopter get it retracked and that should be it.
