For us who have had a short T/R driveshaft replaced since 1991, this SB will cause us a big hassle. But... I suppose it enhaces safety.

I talked to Marc Belhumeur @ FAA recently and he told me the Proposed AD is now at legal and should be out very soon. He would not tell me how much time we have to comply or if anyone has complyed with the SB if we still have to comply again. Anyway sounds like the AD is gong to be here very soon.
