After several weeks of bad weather, we had a beautiful weekend, so I decided to take the neighbor on a flight around the area. I had permission to land in a field nearby my home, where the neighbor met me. I live in The Colony, Texas, but Lewisville is a stone's throw away. Unlike my own city, Lewisville does not have an ordinance against landing a helicopter.
Visibility was unrestricted on a sunny, low humidity day. I have posted a video of my take-off in the Gallery-Video section.

Flying Yet?
Ron,
Is your Brantly flying again? Did you have the tail rotor shaft inspected?

Steve,
Not quite flying yet. Hope to be this weekend, between the snow flakes. We've been working on the annual for 4 months and finally have everything changed out that was needed. Now just to track & balance the rotor systems and we should be good. We did not have the t/r shaft inspected at this time.
