Dear Brantly Owners,
As you may know by now, the FAA is investigating the failure of three tail rotor shafts part number 249-10. Several factors may have played a role in the reason for the failure. The purpose of their investigation is to ensure that the reason wasn't manufacture related. Attached is a word document survey. The purpose of this survey is to present to the FAA this information so that we can possibly avoid an AD being issued on these shafts. Please fill out and return as soon as possible either by email or fax. If you would like to call with the information that is ok as well. The number is (940)552-5451, fax (940)552-2703 or email purchasing@brantly.com
Thanks for your time and if you are not an owner of a Brantly I send my apologies for this inconvenience.
Thanks,
Jason Hickey
