Subject: It was GREAT FUN "playing Army."
Hey guys,
Had some great fun this past Sunday and I thought I'd share it with the group.
My two nephews are active "paintballers." Their club had a big meet Sunday.
Well.. since my B-2B is an Army imposter, he thought it would be wayyy cooool if I flew him in "Air Assault Style." He had his camo clothes on, his gun loaded, and his adrenaline pumped up.
We flew over a few days before to recon the LZ, pick our approach & departure paths, check for hazards, and put the waypoint in the GPS.
On Sunday we approached low over the trees (contour flight) and made a fairly aggressive approach to the ground. He jumped out and began shooting at the enemy just as I departed.
After hiding away for awhile, I came back in and landed & shutdown. They all gathered around the helicopter for a photo op.
It was just like your Army fantasies when you were a kid!!!!
I'll try to get their photo & post it here later.

Prior Cautions to the Paintballers
We had my nephew caution the kids that I we did ever fly in during a paintball match, NO MATTER HOW TEMPTING, they were NOT to lob any paintballs or anything else anywhere toward the helicopter, and just how serious an accident ic could cause if they did.
The kids were very good about it and only shot at my drop-in troup AFTER I had taken off.
