Has anyone gotten the eddy current done or quoted? The quote I got today was $1000 so not at all close to the economic analysis figures. I Will get a second quote but wondering if anyone has better info or experience.

If that quote is from a Certified Level II or Level III NDT Tech., and it's for all 3 outer blades, I'd say that's reasonable. Lots of training and experience to get certified...Expensive equipment...at least a full day of labor and a full day of report writing. I'd be surprised if anyone can get it done cheaper using a certified operator?

I've heard from two different guys who have had theirs done, not in my area. Both paid $500-$600 total for all 3 blades to be done. I had a similar quote. It didn't take very long to do the blades or documentation, and they both used a certified operator.

Thanks. I will seek a second quote from a qualified service provider when I locate another in the area. If anyone has a recommendation near Milwaukee or Madison, Wisconsin please share.
