Noise when rotating blades by hand

Re: Noise when rotating blades by hand
You're right that the trans. should have a tear down inspection which has been done. I take it as an insult to think that I would sell or loan a component that isn't a certified part or a safe part. I know where my parts come from ,that they aren't made someplace that isn't certified and that component times are adhered to. I try to help anyone that I can , ask the people that know me and I try to keep the prices where they should be. If someone needs info or help That I may have ,they can call me & I'll try to help but please don't ask me or "quote " me on the net. Bill

Mr Mott,
I'm very sorry if I offended you. I did not ever say or mean imply that you would do anything less than honorable. EVERYTHING I have EVER heard about you has been positive.
I too, have no reason for being here except my passion for Brantlys and a desire to help, if I have anything to offer.
I am a fan of yours. Once again, I apologize.

Just a follow up. It indeed was improperly shimmed transmission gears. After proper shimming the noise is gone and the transmission sounds like it should!
