B2, B2A exhaust tubes

Post by usapilot69 »

STEVE, REALLY ENJOYING THE SITE. I HAVE, FOR YOU B2 AND B2A DRIVERS, THE EXHAUST FLANGE (TUBE) THAT ATTACHES TO THE JUG THAT CREATES THE VACUME THAT COOLS THE ENGINE. THESE ARE FACTORY SPEC. MADE FROM BETTER MATERIAL. THE OLD ONES BURN OUT AROUND 500 HOURS OR SO. THE PARTS DEPT. IN VERNON DIDN'T HAVE ANY AND COULDN'T GET ANY SO I HAD A SERVICE CENTER MAKE SOME.
CONTACT ME THRU THE SITE..............USAPILOT69@HOTMAIL.COM

The Tubes You Had Made What Type Of Metal Are Made Of. I Was Going To Get Some Made Of Stainles Steel. The Ones You Show Look Good.

STAINLESS STEEL TUBES

Post by usapilot69 »

YES SIR, THE TUBES ARE MADE FROM AIRCRAFT QUALITY STAINLESS STEEL TO BRANTLY SPECS. THEY ARE MADE AT A LISCENSED REPAIR STATION. I HAVE 50 HOURS ON MINE AT THIS TIME. I HAVE JUST PULLED THE EXHAUST TUBES FOR OTHER REASONS AND LOOKED AT THE TUBES. THEY LOOK LIKE I JUST PUT THEM IN. I WAS HAVING THE OLD COOLING PROBLEM AS ALL B2 AND B2A MODELS. I HAD A NEW OIL COOLER PUT IN AND THE NEW TUBES. THIS REALLY HELPED THE HIGH OIL TEMP PROBLEMS AND CHT. JOHN
