Circuit Breakers

Post by Ron Spiker »

Can someone with one of the mid-to-late-60's model B-2B with the row of 7 circuit breakers tell me what each of the breakers are for? Mine was upgraded from a B-2A with the row of 4 breakers, and the others are not marked. Here's what I do know, starting from left to right.

1. Starter
2. ?
3. ?
4. Fuel Gauge
5. ?
6. Instruments
7. Landing Lights

The factory said they've changed things several times, so they couldn't tell me what they should be.

BOT ROW (L to R) 1) Magneto Switch
2) Toggle Switch - Master Sw for Battery to Bus
3) Generator Field Circuit - To Cut Generator On/Off
4) Toggle Switch w/integrated 10A Circuit Breaker-
for Aux Fuel Pump
5) 50A Circuit Breaker - For Generator to Main Bus
ant to Battery for Charging
6) 10A Circuit Breaker - For the Radios
7) Toggle Switch w/integrated 5A Circuit Breaker-
for Compass Light, Cockpit Utility Light, Panel
Lights Through Dimmer.

UNDER SEAT 1) 5A Fuse Holder - For Starter Vibrator Box
2) 15A Fuse Holder - For Fore/Aft Cyclic Trim
INSIDE PEDISTAL 3) 5A Fuse Holder - For (+) from Shunt to Ammeter

Thanks Bryan. My bottom row is the same, and I think the ones under the seat also, but the top row has 7 circuit breakers on it. So far have not determined what the other 3 breakers are going to.

Thanks,
Ron
