Hi
You contacted me regarding G-ATLO my dads 305 which he had in the 1970s.Unfortunately after a full strip , paint and overhaul it still had a slight hop which I have found out years later could never be solved as it was a design fault which apparently mr Brantly was trying to rectify before Brantly sold to Lear Jet.While on a tracking flight with an engineer in the back the aircraft started to vibrate uncontrollably but my uncle was able to get it down and flare into some trees.
Everyone survived and it turned out to be an engineers fault ,not changing certain transmission bolts as required with one failing. The aircraft was totally destroyed but I have pictures somewhere if you want one send me an email address. If this has come out on the board sorry can’t seem to be message.
