Has anyone seen or heard of the B2B N501BH SN#501? It was the first B2B built new since the factory re-opened back in the 70's. This one was built in 1976. Last I heard it was in TX. I have looked up the Registration but still shows it being in Frederick, which it is not. Somebody has it stored someplace. Just wondering.

Re: N501BH
Now that Dad is gone, I'll tell what I know.
When we were talking about the pictures of it in 2014, I asked him what had happened to the Hynes prototype. He told me at the time not to tell, but everyone I know of that ever knew anything is gone, now. He told me cn #501 was not included in the sale of the company to Kimura.
Dad bought it himself, but never registered it in his name. It was still classified experimental in the US. He exported it to a friend in the UK, who also, as far as I know, never registered it in his name and had died many years before our talk. I don't know that the guy even had it shipped to the UK or if he had arranged to have it shipped directly to his buyer. That is the end of the trail as I know it. That would have probably been in the 90s.
