rotor/engine rpm guage

Post by fred »

I am having trouble with my rotor/engine RPM gauge. Every once in a while, the engine RPM needle does not move off zero.

Does anybody know where to send these gauges and for overhaul and what the cost is? Or perhaps there are some used ones for sale.

I sent mine to the outfit below and they did a great job on it. I'm sure others can as well though some are not familiar with the dual tach in a Brantly. Mine was squalling and twitching like a Banshee and it's been flawless since. Make sure the cable is lubed like Tom said. I think it was around $300.
