Tom,
What about you? How much have you flown yours in the past year? Post us up a picture of it. Hopefully some others will chime in. I've had mine down putting in some radios/instruments but got in a couple of hours last sunday. Been slammed with shop work this week plus bad weather so no flying this week. Weather is looking better for Sunday though!

I willing to bet that most persons that own brantlys has retired them.this is why no one response's to most post any more.this is a good example how most hobbies end. most pilots just lose interest. i have been watching this kinda trend for years. witch is a shame. this type of interest is puts a hurting on aviation and the demand for new helicopters including the brantly I have been building and flying ultralights and experimentals for many years the same thing has happened to them.. we used to have as many as 12 planes flying just in my little area. now i can count as little as maybe 3 witch is sad. I see the same thing coming in the brantly forum... by... no means i am no computer guy hope you guys understand what I trying to say. least I try.....well any how try to enjoy your helicopter this year and be safe abought it ..

I expect I will find time to fly much more this year. I was traveling too much for work and I have a 2.5 year old son so my flight time was curtailed last year a lot. But I surely have not lost interest. :D

Tom,
Personally, my thinking is that it has a great deal more to do with the economy then losing interest with regards to Helicopters. At 8.5 to 11 GPH * What is ave gas now? takes a lot of the "I'm gonna fly today" out .
And the cost of parts and maintenance is staggering now.
I don't think it is possible for a private helicopter pilot to lose interest in flying a helicopter. :D
