transmission #63156 seal

Post by seneca2e »

Does anyone have this seal or know of a alternate seal part? The book shows 63156 then on the same line k31 and then in another place a 6020. It is the small shaft seal that keeps the tranny oil in where you attach the tach cable to the transmission.

It's definitely the 63156 seal at the tranny. That's the one I'm looking for.

Ed, It crosses to a National seal # 343104 and should be available at any auto store. If not I have them in stock. Bill

Thanks Bill and thanks for returning my call! I figured it crossed to a standard seal but was dreading measuring and trying to figure the cross out :-). I saw one of your old posts requesting info on a tach seal and knew from your posts you'd found them. Lots of great info on this forum. If you have any other seal crosses-like the transmission output shaft seal-Brantly p/n 63-255- that would be very helpful as well.
