I want to thank BILL M. and RON S. I had a great time at the fly-in and these guys made it happen for me i always wanted to take a long cross country trip in my brantly .and they did so much for me .so if any one needs a instructor and a good helicopter mechanic these guys are the ones....thanks again 9121u tom

Slide 15 of Ron’s is a pic of the Nickleson Viaduct, in Nickleson PA. On the Erie Lackawanna line built circa 1920, it was considered a engineering marvel at the time. I have a living 95 year old aunt whose father drove her from Richmond in ~1925 just to see that bridge. Legend has it one worker during construction fell in the cement and was thus buried.
The windmills are on a ride near Carbondale, owned by Florida Power and Light, who pictures them on their annual report covers. I could be wrong but my guess is photo op is their main use, lots of time there is not enough wind to turn them.
