Need Brantly Logo

Does anyone have an image of the Brantly Logo that could be used to create a vinyl decal? I downloaded the JPG that is on Brantly's home page, but it is too small and thus too pixelated when blown up. A vectorized image would be best for the sign shop that will be making the decal.

I plan on putting the decals on the left and right removable engine cowlings.

Did you price the decals from Brantly? They have/had some. I have one of theirs that I haven't used yet and may be able to scan it at very high resolution. I don't think its on a white background though. I'll check and see. But the company at least used to have them.

Thanks, Ron. It is about the same resolution and size as the logo I pulled from Brantly's web site. In Paint Shop Pro at 100% it is about 3" x 2" and starts to show pixelation at 200%. The sign shop needs to blow it up substantially more than that. What is needed is a scan that is at least 6" x 2 at 100%. I'll probably not be using the whole logo. Perhaps only the word 'Brantly' and the underscore. In any event, it will need to be enlarged it to near its original size, approx. 11" wide. That is about 400% and the pixelation gets really bad up there.

I'll call Brantly tomorrow and see what they can provide.

Brantly doesn't have the new logo decals anymore. They do have some of the old (ugly) ones, see below, for $5 each. The price is right, but they are ugly. So, Ron, if you can would you provide a high res image of yours? Also, if you can, can you scan it into a vector type of image instead of a JPEG?

In the image of the old decal (attached), what looks like a black background is actually silver foil.

Well, I have created my own image. The decals will have a clear background. Attached is a JPEG of what the decal will look like on my white cowling and a second JPEG of what the decal will look like on a Black background.

The maroon trim will look good on my Brantly which is White, Black, and Maroon.

My neighbor has a solid Black Brantly, except for the N number. The silver letters will look good on his machine and since the background of the decal is clear it will visually appear as a Black background on his machine.

I think I will be able to get several decals made for the sign shop's minimum charge or at least to be able to bring the cost per decal down by having them make several extras during their run. So I may have spares available if other Brantly owners are interested. I haven't received the quote yet, but I anticipate the decals costing less than $10 each. Whatever the cost I will be willing to part with any spares at my actual cost plus postage. So if any of you are interested let me know, and I will keep you posted.

The decals will be approximately 10 Wide by 4 inches tall. However, the two images could be cut apart and used separately. For instance, I am considering putting either the word "Brantly" or the "B-2B", but not both, on the part of the panel that is exposed through the bubble.

I have a sign shop and perfectly traced vector drawing of a scan of it in AutoCAD 2000.

I CAN SEND IT AS AN AUTOCAD DWG FILE, AN AUTOCAD DXF FILE, FOR VINYL PLOTTERS IN A SYMBOL-GRAPHICS LETTER ART .SYM OR GNT FILE.

I can also cut you a vinyl decal ... any size, most common colors ( or you can purchase a 10 yard roll of high performance vinyl any of the more than 200 colors you chose, to match your paint.) I'll cut it from your vinyl for 10.00 each plus shipping.
