I was kind of wondering the same thing! Found some info on the net, stating 258 registered here & abroad... But amount flying??? I was curious how many were built in total, all models. Seems not to many come up for sale that often. The owners must like em enough to hold on to, kinda like a class...

What rpm are the rotors suppose to engage. I was reading some old threads with regards to hot starts and the rotors engaging. Concerns me that that simple act of starting can possibly lead to damage, even when following the checklist! Please bare with me as I'm just trying to learn more.

Wow, is $30k for a complete new set, both inboard & out? Are all blades, new & old prone to skin cracks, or just certain part #?
