Re: low fuel quantity
Bryan, thanks for the reply. I understand how the system works, but it just seems that this was a poorly engineered system. In that if the oil cooler door is closed, the system will never arm and you have an idiot light on at all times. It would seem that my switch might need adjusted..................

However, in the meantime, it says Exhaust port studs 40 in pounds Nuts to attach exhaust stack to cylinder head 160 to 180 in lbs. I figure you need the exhaust stack torque, but I am just reporting what the manual...

transmission for sale
I bought a spare transmission that has approximately 1400 to 1500 hours. This transmission was pulled off of a ship that was flown over in the UK, and was bought from a guy John somebody. I thought it would be good just to have a spare, but based upon my situation, I don't think that I will ever nee...

Re: Increasing power on the Brantly?
I am with you concerning the filter, especially since we don't have an oil filter. If there is a mod I would like to get my hands on, that would be it...........an oil filter. I was looking at old stc's and found one, but it is no longer available. Seems like there was some discussion some time back...

Re: Increasing power on the Brantly?
I am somewhat of a big man myself. I have found that well tracked and balanced blades helped as well as a k and n air filter. There is an stc out there specifically for the brantly. More air should mean more power...........any thoughts..........
