Re: Spring 2009 - Time to Fly !

J. Headrick

Do you instruct out of other area airfields in the metroplex area or just out of Granbury (GDJ) airport? I was thinking of doing a rotorwing add on rating to my private fixed wing ticket. I'm out of Irving and fly out of Grand Prairie (GPM).

Thanks,
Mark

Brantly B2B Turbo

Tom, Yes, the paperwork I have on a Bell / Carson Super C-4 that I had said Carson, Perkasie, PA. from the 60'S I did a Google search and it looks like the company is under a diff. name, and nothing about turbo conversions. I wish someone would do one as a experimental for flight testing and proving...

I would like to see a turbo-charger converion for the B2B. Carson turbo conversion made a big difference for the Hiller UH12C & the Bell 47G density alt. performance issue. Noise should not be a major problem to correct!

Thanks,
Mark

I would like to see Brantly do a turbo conversion first, the Carson conversion made a big difference on the Bell 47D1,G and the Hiller UH12C, like now with the heat here in Dallas.

Thanks,
Mark

They're getting $250.00 to $255.00 per hour here in the Dallas, Texas area for a Hughes 300. Kind of pricey

Hey Gary, Try these Guy's in NC, they use the B2b for training, but it also looks like they are trying to sell off their fleet of B2b's. Let me know what you find out if you get with them please. http://www.eastcarolinahelicopters.com/ I tried to find B2b owners in NC but it came up blank. http://16...

B2B exposure

It's a shame being in the same state as Brantly and you can't get any flight instuction in one unless you own your own B2B. I think the factory should provide flight training for people seeking a rating and having interest in a B2B. If you don't give people a chance to get to know your product up fr...
