Verification - It is a beautiful machine
Yes, I have flown in this machine. It is indeed a beautiful machine. Very nice inside and out. One of the things he did was to buff out the bubble with a micromesh kit so that there are almost no imperfections in the bubble. I will be doing it to my bubble too. What I really loved was watching was h...

I've got 2 machines with over 3000 hours on each one.
My 1965 B-2B has 3036 hours. In the last year I have only been able to fly it for 7 hours in the last year because I found a real BAD mechanic who damaged the rotor head.
I also bought a complete machine that is in pieces. I think it is from 1965 or 1966 but it has 3413.4 hours

Another way of looking at the difficult starting
I want to point out that the difficult procedure to get one of these helicopters started is in itself an anti-theft feature. If you do not know what you are doing, you are NOT going to get one started! I don't know any other helicopter that is harder to start. In Europe (it could be only in England)...

About the passenger controls
It would sure be nice if there was a way to quick disconnect and reconnect the controls on the passenger side.

For Easier Starting - Prime and Preflight
It was recommended to me that you prime the helicopter (get the fuel flowing) and then do your walkaround. That way the fuel gets a chance to vaporize before you turn the engine over. Any thoughts?

Got any pictures or instructions for the landing pad
I would like to see what your landing pad looks like. Have you got a website where you have the pictures posted? Did you actually have a plan to work off of, or was it all just guess, measure and cut?

The James Bond Machine?
I am not sure if mine is the actual machine used in either of the Bond movies. I was originally told that the G-WASP was the machine used in "You Only Live Twice". Then, after I mention that I bought the WASP, I have been told by a number of people that my machine was the one used in that ...

That Helicopter! It's Mine!
I was shocked and pleased to see THE WASP (formally known as G-WASP) displayed as the website's display icon. I bought the machine from Nigel Minchin almost a year ago (24 April 2002). I am looking forward to putting a lot of hours on it. Unfortunately, right now I am in Vasteras, Sweden, and it is ...

The Muffler and European Sales
Brantly Company needs to know that the muffler would allow the B2-B to meet the noise requirements of the European Union!!!! That would surely increase potential sales. Cy Russum (Brantly VP) says he can not sell new machines in Europe. The older machines are able to be grandfathered in. I think (bu...
