Re: Harold Jenkins Passed Away
I got a note from Harold's daughter and she gave me permission to post it to the forum: I am Harold Jenkins Daughter Tammy or TJ as he called me. He was teaching my husband and me all about Brantly helicopters. He had wanted us to take over for him. We were transferred to Cincinnati area because my ...

Re: Harold Jenkins Passed Away
Ron,
Thanks for letting us know, sad as it is. So many of us were helped by Harold. Beneath that sometimes gruff exterior was a kind and humorous man who will be missed.

Flying into Silverstone UK
I am posting this for Neil Freeman: This is a video of my approach into the 2010 Silverstone F1 Grand Prix. This event becomes the busiest airspace in the world for one day a year with a take off every 15 seconds approx. I took the opportunity to take in the Brantly as this was the last time a priva...

Re: FATAL BRANTLY CRASH
Update: Thought I'd let everyone know how I am doing. I have been back to work now for about five months, working from home as I was before the accident. I have regained a lot of strength and stamina, but still have no movement or sensation below the level of my spinal cord injury (mid chest). I hav...

Re: brantly site
Thanks for the offer of assistance. I only pay about $70 per year so I am not asking for contributions at this time.

Re: brantly site
Among the thousands of things that did not get done while I am in the hospital was renewing the domain name. Did that yesterday, so hopefully the site will not have further interuptions.

Re: FATAL BRANTLY CRASH
This is my last day at Baylor Hospital in Dallas where I have been doing my rehab. I will be going home tomorrow and should start to be more active on the Internet and this Web site. Thanks to everyone, especially Ron Spiker, for their prayers and concern during my recovery. I will continue therapy ...

Note to All Brantly Customers
Tim Archer, the President of Brantly, asked me to post this note to all Brantly customers. They are still working on getting access to the brantly.com Web site:

Re: Brantly versus Enstrom
Only maintenance I did was adding air to the tires and oil to the engine. I left it up to East Texas Flying Service to do all of the maintenance, including routine stuff. However, I had no complaints about any difficulty, although they did complain about changing the oil in the Brantly sometimes :) ...

Brantly versus Enstrom
One of the members saw that I was selling my Enstrom and asked if I could write a comparison of the Brantly vs. Enstrom since I have owned both. Well, since I like to talk about helicopters, I will oblige :) Power: The Enstrom does much better in high density altitude conditions given that it is tur...

Enstrom for Sale
As most of you know, I switched from a Brantly to an Enstrom a few years ago. The Enstrom has served me extremely well and been a very reliable machine. The turbo charging makes a big difference in the high density altitude conditions brought on by the heat and humidity of the Texas summers. I have ...

Re: Milestone
Ron,
You probably would be at 1,000 by now if it had not been out of service for so long! Congratulations!

Sorry to have not replied, have not been to the site for quite a while. Will forward the info on the grips to those requested it when I return to Dallas in about a week.
